Flooding is Common in Boulder
Did you know that the city of Boulder has the highest risk of flooding in the state of Colorado? According to the City of Boulder website, Boulder has the highest flash flood risk due to its geographic location at the base of the Rocky Mountain Foothills and Boulder Creek, and its fourteen tributaries and Boulder Slough. A flash flood can happen anytime with little or no warning.
